We are starting a new program called the Self-Advocates Club, which will be led by our newest board member, Mike Miller and our Self-Advocate board member, Kimmie Garrison. It is open to individuals with disabilities who are 15 and older and does require membership to our organization, which is free for Self-Advocates. We will meet at the Community Foundation of Hancock County from 5:00-7:00pm every other month on the second Wednesday. This club will be offering classes on important topics and also will be planning a walk fundraiser to help promote the Arc of Hancock County, raise money for the club, and increase awareness of the ADA accessibility needs in the area.
